Healing Principle of Acne Dressing

In 1962, Doc. Winter from University of London proved on animals that epithelia grew twice faster than exposed in air when it covered by PU film which created a moist environment surround the wound area. In 1963, Hinman got the same result on human. It is considered that humidity, temperature and pH value in moist wound are almost same to human skin, so improved growth of epithelia and collagen. Beside these, the moist environment also prevents scar forming.

And in 2006, researchers from of Top- medical used the hydrocolloid appended CMC on acne care,and it was proved that hydrocolloid with CMC could absorb pus and exudates much quicker.
