Instructions:

1.Clean or sterilize wound according to the hospital standardized, then stick the dressing after the surrounding skin becomes dry.

2.Chose suitable dressing should ensure it’s size should exceed the wound edge about 2.5cm each side, sticking on a dry and healthy skin around the wound;

3.Pasting transparent dressing with natural prolapse and it is forbidden to paste after stretch; Press dressing from puncture point to the surrounding gently, peel off the release paper from the pre-incision of paper frame and press the dressing gently while expose the edge;

4.After recording the patient’s name, date, bed No. and other information on the athletic tape spraying head, the tape can be sticked to the easy removability side of transparent dressing, or used to strengthen the fixation for catheter.

Cautions:

      1.It is forbidden to paste after stretch, avoiding tension injury of the skin;

      2.When used in I.V. cannula care, the replacement of dressing need to keep up with indwelling needle;

      3.Prevent venous indwelling needle abscission when changing the transparent applicator;

      4.Peripheral venousindwelling needle change position every 3 days. When used in central venous indwelling needle care, it can be used for no more than 7 days.

      5.When finding breakage、abscission to the dressing, it should be replaced in time to ensure barrier and fixation;

      6.The appearance of high exudation, which may affect the fixation.of dressing, means you should replace a new one;

      7.Once finding infection,you should peel off the dressing and make a necessary processing;

      8.Paste viscosity will be affected if there is cleanser、protective agent.、antiseptic ointment on the skin.
